Should I Apologize to Bush, Rumsfield and FOX News Because British intelligence Uncovered a Suspected Terrorist Plot?

I can't help it sometimes I have to listen to right wing propaganda radio. Today I listened and the host of FOX Across America told me I owed him an apology. Not just him but George W. Bush and Donald Rumsfield as well. Why do I owe them an apology? Because British law enforcement ant intelligence operations in the U.K. have uncovered a terrorist plot to blow up airplanes bound for the U.S. from England and I don't think the U.S. Government has the authority to listen to my phone calls or read my emails without a warrant.

Somehow, in this host opinion, British Authorities using undercover agents identifying a potential threat to British and American citizens means that I should be willing to allow my Constitutional rights to be circumvented.

Let me make this plain I have nothing to hide. Local, State, Federal Law Enforcement Agencies are welcome to listen to my calls or intercept my emails, as long as they have a warrant issued by the proper judicial authority. No problem. I would be upset if my own spouse or Mother listened in on my phone call without my knowledge. Am I hiding anything from them? No, but each of us as human being have certain needs, a basic level of individual privacy is one of them. It's not only a need it is a right as a matter of fact guaranteed by the Constitution. The founders of this Country recognized this need/right. They made a point of ensuring it for us in the Bill of Rights.

So do I owe George W. Bush, Donald Rumsfield and FOX News an apology. NO! But if anyone has authorized or supported a branch of federal law enforcement to listen in on my phone calls or monitor my emails without a warrant, well they owe me a BIG ONE.
