Rush Limbaugh, Gay Marriage, Flag Burning ... Why do I do it

I always say I am not going to do it anymore. I am not going to let myself get distracted by nonsense and wedge issues. I'm not going to allow myself to argue gay marriage with right wing bigots. I am not going to discuss a flag burning amendment with people who believe loving your country means that you salute the flag and support the president no matter what. I am not going to be gleeful about the latest of Rush Limbaugh's troubles with the law. I am not going to do it, I'm not, I'm not. But I do. Why? Because I can't help myself. I like pushing thier buttons. But do I help the enemy acheive thier goal? They want these issues to distract everyone from from the real issues, the big issues. Healthcare, minimum wage, declines in the high school graduation rate are all issues that we need to be talking about. These are the issues they can't win. I will try to stick to the real issues that we need to be talking about. No promises though.
